Science 7: Students had the opportunity to complete graphing assignments in class today. They were handed in for marks when completed. We watched a video; Bill Nye: Phases of Matter. Hand out 'Topic 6: Transferring Energy' - due Tuesday. We will be doing an activity on Monday so please wear appropriate clothing and girls please tie your hair back.
Science 8: We looked at some video clips of Rube Goldberg machines today and then introduced our newest project 'Wacky Gumball Machines'. The blueprint is due Tuesday February 10 and the final machine is due Monday February 23.
Report cards went home today. Parent Teacher Interviews are next week Tuesday and Wednesday. Registration is online - see insert in report card folder for instructions.
