Here is my effort at getting back into the regular routine of blog posts! Sorry for the hiccup!
Science 7: Today we spent the entire class time on presentations of Famous Structure Projects. Wow! There are some fantastic models coming into my classroom! Tomorrow we'll be continuing on with presentations as well. Make sure that you have checked your powerpoint to see that it works on our computers at school.
We are still in need of parent volunteers for our Bridges Field trip on Nov. 1st. If you are interested, please come to the school to fill out the proper forms and have your child let me know that you plan on coming. We have to have up-to-date police checks on any volunteer, so you need to get in as soon as possible... please :).
Science 8: Today we did the Topic 4/5 quiz and then began on labelling diagrams of the different systems within the human body. We'll be spending the next 6 or so classes looking more closely at the function of each system, so don't forget to bring your textbook to class!
