Science 7: We went through the different changes of state (solid, liquid, gas) and then started a group work activity reading a graph about temperature and change of state of water. The worksheet is due for tomorrow.
Science 8: Brief notes on the wedge and the screw. Afterward we looked at the fun project we're starting - building a Rube Goldberg Gumball Machine!! The website activity that's part of the planning process, and the blueprint of your gumball machine, are both due Monday Feb 11. The Gumball machine is due Wed Feb 20. Reminder that transportation of your machine needs to be considered when designing it. Please DO NOT bring your machine to school before Feb 20 as we will not have anywhere to keep it.
