Science 7: Today we completed our Environmental Debates to determine which group would receive funding for their project. Congratulations to the winning groups!! Topic 1-3 Wrap Up in the textbook - pg 37 #1-6. Have this completed for tomorrow as I will be doing a homework check on it. Reminder: Topic 1-3 Quiz is TOMORROW. Come to class with any questions you may have so that they can be addressed before the quiz.
Science 8: Today we had a homework check on Topic 4 and then went over the information. Topic 5 (Density) was handed out and students were given class time to work on it. Topic 5 due tomorrow (homework check). We also looked at density today with salt water, an egg, and tap water - coooool!! Suspended egg! Reminder: Bring your fruit tomorrow (just one piece). If you bring an apple, please make sure you cut it into sections before you leave home. The fruit will be used to demonstrate viscosity in our 'Chocolate Fountain of Science'.
