Science 7: Today we looked at niches and food chains - the stuff that is in Topic 4 of the notesheets. We also started on an activity 'Matter and Energy'; this is due Monday. The rest of the Topic 4 notesheet is due for tomorrow.
Science 8: Today we handed in the 'Determining Flow Rate' lab that we did yesterday. I will look more at the scientific process and at how you reasoned through your answers than I will be looking for correct answers.
We also did a density activity that looked at the different densities of Coca-Cola and Diet Coke compared to the density of water. This was an in-class activity and was due to be handed in at the end of class. The Viscosity sheet (the one with 'Viscosity Quiz' on the back) is due tomorrow.
Topic 5 (Density) is due tomorrow for a homework check.
Reminder to bring a calculator to class tomorrow.
