Science 7: We finished looking at all the material from Topic 1. Students were put into groups to prepare for building golf Ball Bridges tomorrow. Homework: to draw a blueprint of what you think a successful bridge would be, using only the materials listed on the front of the page.
Science 8: Students started a two-day activity of preparing wet-mount slides and doing accurate scientific drawings of the observations made from their own slide. Tomorrow we will continue the activity.
Terry Fox Day is Friday September 28!! There are no regularly scheduled classes that day - we have a day full of organized activities planned with a dance at the end of the day!
Monday October 1 is a PD/Org day. No classes.
