A HUGE thank you to all those students and parents who came out last night for a visit!!! I'm so glad I got the chance to meet you and spend a brief moment getting to know you all.
Science 7: Today we looked at WHMIS and HHPS symbols. Students were given a booklet on the symbols and are to complete two of the pages in the booklet (Understanding WHMIS Symbols, and the last page that has the inverted triangle and octagon on it). There will be an end of unit test on Tuesday September 18th for all the Lab Safety and Lab Equipment that we've learned about over the last 10 days.
Science 8: Students handed in yesterday's homework for completion marks. We went over the answers in class so that students who didn't completely understand things were enlightened a little bit, and reinforced things for other students. We also looked at science process through a chocolate chip cookie lens!! Students were given a worksheet to complete about the cookie they received in class today. Just a reminder that all pictures are to be in pencil and then coloured. Make sure you answer all questions with full sentences! Worksheet is due in class on Monday.
Don't forget that we have a Lab Safety and Lab Equipment Test on Monday...
